## PCT - NATIONAL PHASE ENTRY

**Patent Term:** 20 Years

**Deadline:** 31 months

**Language:** Danish (claims)

**Translation:** Danish translations should be submitted within two months

**Charge for Excess Claims:** Yes (in excess of 10 claims)

**Examination Request:** Substantive examination is performed at filing upon payment of the fee; acceleration available

**Required Documents:** Power of Attorney (PoA) - Scanned copy

**Annuities:** Official grant fee must be paid within two months from the Notice of Allowance. 1st-3rd maintenance fees due by the end of the 2nd year.

## PARIS CONVENTION - DIRECT FILING

**Patent Term:** 20 Years

**Deadline:** 12 months from priority date

**Language:** Danish (claims)

**Translation:** Danish translations should be submitted within two months

**Charge for Excess Claims:** Yes (in excess of 10 claims)

**Examination Request:** Substantive examination is performed at filing upon payment of the fee; acceleration available

**Required Documents:** Power of Attorney (PoA) - Scanned copy; Priority document

**Annuities:** Official grant fee must be paid within two months from the Notice of Allowance. 1st-3rd maintenance fees due by the end of the 2nd year.

## DESIGN APPLICATION

**Patent Term:** 25 Years

**Deadline:** When claiming priority, 6 months from the priority date

**Language:** Danish

**Translation:** Not required if application is in Danish

**Charge for Excess Claims:** N/A

**Examination Request:** Examination request not required

**Required Documents:** Power of Attorney (PoA) - Original; Reproductions illustrating the design/specimen; Applicant details; Indication of classes according to the Locarno Agreement; Product specification; Priority details (if any)

**Annuities:** Annuity fees are due annually.

## TRADEMARK APPLICATION

**Patent Term:** 10 Years

**Deadline:** None (renewable every 10 years)

**Language:** English

**Translation:** Not required if application is in English

**Charge for Excess Claims:** N/A

**Examination Request:** Examination request not required

**Required Documents:** Power of Attorney (PoA) - Original; Exact reproduction of the trademark; List of goods and services/international class; Applicant details

**Annuities:** Annuity fees are due every 10 years.
